The last days of autumn…

Hello winter

All our visitors have been admiring the autumn colours here over the past few weeks. But, looking around, this past week, there’s another word we’re thinking of using to describe the season…and that’s winter. The leaves are falling fast- it’s been pretty windy this year- and the trees are probably barer than not by now. The nearby hills have been white-capped in snow for a week and any still mornings are very frosty. It’s a beautiful time of year to get out so why not come and see some of this for yourselfAutumn birches
